River Spagetti

August 2007: When walking up a river bed with my two daughters we found Spagetti in the river. 

The excitment came when Nanaka went to pick up the spagetti ( which I told her not to ).....

and it moved!!!

It's like nothing I've seen or heard of before.

It's got to be one of the scariest river swimmers we've ever seen...just imagine going for a swim and it snuggling up your nose!!! 

River Spagetti has a mouth on one end, a hard body -just like spagatti, 30cm long, 1mm diameter and no eyes.

A real mystery, any ideas what it may be - let us know^-^..
