For me amateur radio has been the perfect pastime!

Learn about technology, society, geography, languages...all at the same time.

Although today, we can talk around the world by regular telephone, we can send and recieve messages,  video and data freely....or so we think.  Perhaps, you could question yourself here and ask if this is true for everyone on the planet?
